Hugsa Vakt

Stay on top of what matters to you.

Keep an eye on one specific public page, feed or listing. Hugsa Vakt checks it on a sensible schedule and tells you when something genuinely changes – with evidence and a link to the original.

We check only selected public sources. Hugsa Vakt does not monitor the whole internet, and we do not take content from behind a login, a paywall or a block.

Three steps

Choose a source → We check → You get a notification

Nothing mysterious. You choose what is watched, and you always see what was checked and when.

  1. Choose a source Paste the address of a public page, an RSS/Atom feed or a listing. You can also choose a verified source from the directory.
  2. We check Hugsa Vakt reads the source on the interval you choose and stores a baseline. The first successful check is the baseline – it does not alert.
  3. You get a notification When something genuinely changes, you get a short summary, the detection time and a link to the original source.
Three modes

Not every change is meaningful

Choose the mode that fits the source and what you want to know.

Read more about the modes

Content changes

We read the page and compare its text. You see what appeared and what disappeared, without render timestamps or navigation noise.

New items

Feeds and listings are read for new items. You hear about new items, not the same items again.

Keyword match

Choose one or more terms. Hugsa Vakt tells you when a term first appears or disappears – and which terms were already present at the baseline.

What we do

A tool, not a news service

Hugsa Vakt answers “Did this change?” – not “What is happening in the world?”

What you get

  • Notifications about changes in sources you chose yourself.
  • Evidence: the text, the link and the detection time.
  • Control over interval, keywords and notifications.
  • A clear overview of every source you follow.

What you do not get

  • Not the whole world, the whole web or every page in a field.
  • Not content behind a login, paywall or CAPTCHA.
  • Not a newsroom.
  • Not a guarantee that you will never miss a deadline – always check the source.

Start with one source

It takes a minute. You can pause, edit or delete the watch at any time.
