Terms

Last updated 2026-11-07

These terms describe how Hugsa Vakt is intended to be used and what you can expect.

Before public launch

This is a practical, clear description of the service. Final legal terms must be reviewed by a lawyer before the service is publicly announced.

The service

Hugsa Vakt checks selected public sources and notifies you about changes. It is a monitoring tool – not a news service and not a archive of the original content.

Acceptable use

You must use the service lawfully and within the limits set by each source.

  • Enter only addresses you are permitted to check and that are publicly accessible.
  • Do not attempt to get past a login, paywall, CAPTCHA or other access control.
  • Do not use the service to disturb sources, harm others or break the law.
  • Do not attempt to access other users or administrative functions.
  • Respect watch limits, intervals and the daily check limit.

Sources and accuracy

Hugsa Vakt links to the original source. We cannot guarantee that a source is correct, complete or available.

  • A change means that content changed – not that it is true or false.
  • We can miss a change if a source responds slowly, blocks access or changes its structure.
  • Deadlines and other decisions must always be checked at the original source.
  • We store short evidence and links, not whole articles.

Not advice

Hugsa Vakt does not provide legal, financial, safety or other professional advice. A notification is a prompt to check the original source.

Account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for what is done with your account. One account is for one person; sharing may come later if there is demand.

Notifications

In-app notifications are always available. Email alerts require a verified address and a working SMTP connection. Email can be delayed or fail; the status shows that, and you can always check the app.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running, but we do not promise a specific availability level. Maintenance, errors or network problems can interrupt checks. You can always pause or delete your watches.

Limits and fair use

We apply limits on watches, intervals and daily checks to protect the service and the sources. The limits can change, and we tell you when they affect you.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. We aim to be precise and correct, but we cannot promise that every change will be detected or that a notification arrives within a specific time. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the service changes. The updated version is shown here with its update date.
